UnWined Subiaco Celebrating 10 Years

After six months of needing to be cautious and a year of planning, organisers CMS Events are excited to be able to present the tenth edition of UnWined Subiaco at the end of November.

Staged on the weekend of 28 – 29 November, the event will be subtly different in 2020 while still having a great range of everyone’s favourite wines taking part, along with music and tempting food options.

They again are pleased to have the support of founding sponsor, the City of Subiaco through their See Subiaco brand, a relationship that has contributed to the development of the event as one of the WA’s premium wine and food festivals, now attracting the largest participation of wineries for any consumer event in the state.

The company is understandably excited to stage the event which has had the support of the important client base throughout the past few months who are equally excited to be able to get back in front of consumers. Tasting WA’s best boutique wines and meeting people face to face is a major factor behind the event’s success.

A mid-year survey of attendees has shown they are also keen to come along! Both participant numbers and early ticket sales are showing some strong signs.

In staging the 2020 event, plans have been made to ensure UnWined Subiaco will meet the standards of government and health authorities while ensuring both the public and participants have trust and confidence in the way it is managed.

Plans to go ahead are based on the current Western Australian restrictions and controls. Through the registration process, all attendees will be able to be traced. Numbers are planned to be slightly less than previous events with three sessions run over the two days instead of two with controls and event design in place to make it another enjoyable event at Market Square Park in Subiaco.

The Club Lounge and wine pairing sessions will not be activated in 2020 to guard against any unnecessary groupings of people.

Enjoy the best of WA’s wine, craft beer, cider and spirits in a festival to celebrate our unique and boutique beverages. With over 50 companies from regions across our extraordinary state, you can explore the incredible tastes you may not normally have access to!

Get to know over 200 wines from more than 30 WA wineries and winemakers! Buy a glass, a brew or cocktail to enjoy on the picnic lawn or order your favourite bottles to top up your cellar.

You can do all this while enjoying live music and eating some delicious tapas from Perth’s best foodies!

No matter what you do, it is a great day out with friends and family where you can discover new and contemporary drinks, taste great food and enjoy Indi tunes in the heart of Subiaco!

There will also be a celebration wall in place where visitors can record their own memory of the tenth anniversary of UnWined Subiaco.

To help celebrate and extend the fun, people will be able to enjoy the food and beverage offerings from venues in Subiaco who will join in with special events and other culinary options during the week leading up to the festival.
