A series of four events fall under the brand of “Wine & Food Events WA”, with a 2 being staged yearly. CMS have continued their promotion of the industry for more than 20 years.
On Cloud Wine
TASTE GREAT SOUTHERN
April / May, annual event
10,000 visitors / 100 participants
Taste Great Southern has been staged since 2004 and recently been upgraded with CMS winning the rights to manage and market the event for a second term of three years. It comprises up to 45 independent events staged over 11 days in Albany, Denmark, Mt Barker and surrounding regions.
Roles for the event includes management of; celebrities, festivals, dinners, seminars, community events, tastings, pairings and more. CMS create the business plan annually being responsible for budgets, marketing and overall coordination.
KPI’s are reported to major funding organisation Tourism WA.
CARE AND AGEING WELL EXPO
August, annual event
2500 visitors / 100 companies
Staged on behalf of the Leading Age Services Australia. It promotes products and services for advanced and aged care planning with a focus on ageing well. The delivery of a showcase for the complex needs of seniors has been well received since 2017.
The expo has now been expanded to Melbourne, with vision to bring a third expo to Darwin in the coming years.
Spring Time, annual event
15,000 visitors / 50 events
Spread across eight local government authority areas and 19 towns, the Bloom Festival encompasses more than 50 events and displays showcasing the wildflowers of the Great Southern region.
